Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Why should I have my documents translated with Idiomatic Translations Australia?

We all know that google translation can be quite handy for those on the spot, informal translations. However, it's no secret that google translate can be very inaccurate. If you don't believe me, just try and translate the lyrics to your favourite song into a few different languages and back. Furthermore, these inaccuracies are even more noticeable with technical text. At the end of the day you should never trust your documents to be translated by a machine. At Idiomatic Translations Australia, we have built a database of expert native translators who make sure the document is understood correctly by the final destination, wherever that may be in the world. We ensure quality-control with our ISO 9001:2015 certification and offer our services to you at affordable and competitive rates!

Do all translators need to hold NAATI accreditations?

At Idiomatic Translations Australia, we trust in native speakers for your translation needs. If you require a foreign document to be translated into English for Australian purposes, we source NAATI accredited translators.

However, if you find yourself requiring a foreign translation from an Australian document, we ensure that your documents follow accreditation guidelines of that foreign country. For example, if you are moving to Spain and require a birth certificate translation, a NAATI accredited translation will not be accepted by the Spanish authorities.

No matter what language you are seeking, we follow ISO 9001:2015 certification guidelines to guarantee quality standards in every translation, and work closely with translators that we know and trust. At the end of the day, our goal is to provide you with a linguistically perfect translation tailor-made for its final destination.

How long will your translation take?

The time-frame for every translation is different and we generally aim to provide this for you as soon as possible.
